Meet Dr. Jun

PSY 35878

Dr. Helen Jun (she/her/hers) is a Northern and Southern California-based clinical psychologist passionate about diagnosing and treating adult survivors of complex trauma. She deeply believes survivors deserve the chance to heal from their trauma and reclaim a life of thriving, not just surviving.

Dr. Jun received her PhD in clinical psychology from Fuller Graduate School of Psychology. She completed her doctoral residency at the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Health Care System/ UCSF Medical Center, where she specialized in PTSD assessment and treatment. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Jun conducts trauma-informed psychological evaluations in court-involved contexts.

Dr. Jun believes that issues of identity such as gender, sexuality, religion, race, immigration, neurodivergence, and dis/ability must inform complex trauma recovery.

Her therapy practice integrates neuropsychological research on complex trauma/ PTSD, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and attachment theory. She is passionate about educating others about effective, phase-based trauma recovery.

Dr. Jun currently works in partnership with Woven Together Trauma Therapy.
